Where engagements begin
What a Sales Data Readiness Assessment covers
Before any analysis can be trusted, you need to know what your data can and cannot tell you. The assessment looks across your CRM, quoting and order systems and answers six questions.
It is also an essential first step for any company planning to bring AI into its sales and commercial processes. AI tools learn from the records in your CRM, order management and finance systems, so they can only be as reliable as that data.
How healthy is your data overall?
One health score across accounts, contacts, quotes and orders, so you know where you stand.
Are your systems joined up?
How many customers in your quoting or order system can be matched to a record in your CRM.
What does your real pipeline look like?
We rebuild the pipeline from quote and order data, showing how long deals spend at each stage, by sector.
Why are deals won and lost?
Win rates by segment and by sales approach, with statistical checks so you know a difference is real.
How quickly are leads followed up?
Response times for new leads, and how often customers buy with no recorded conversation beforehand.
What are the gaps costing you?
How much revenue has no recorded source or sector, and what that means for marketing and sales decisions.
You receive an interactive report and a prioritized action plan, split into immediate priorities, the next 30 to 60 days, and longer-term foundations.
From a recent assessment
For a UK industrial supplier, the CRM held about 2% of the sales activity recorded in the quoting system, and more than 90% of revenue had no recorded source. Accounts that were actively managed in the CRM before a quote was raised won 18.5% more often.
How we work
Six steps, from first conversation to a team that uses its data
01
Learn what’s driving (and costing) you revenue
A focused conversation about your pipeline, where deals stall, and how your data is set up.
02
Clean, connect and enrich your data
We standardize and join your CRM and ERP records into one dataset that everything else runs on.
03
Find your most profitable customers and markets
Performance across industries, regions, company sizes and product lines.
04
Refine your ideal customer profile
Built from real conversion, deal value and retention patterns, not assumptions.
05
Find what actually moves your deals
Pipeline, activity and conversion analysis that shows what works and where revenue leaks.
06
Train your team to act on it
Actionable reports, playbooks and hands-on training, so insights reach daily work rather than sitting in a report.
“The geographic and segment analysis was genuinely insightful. You could see exactly which markets were performing and why. The lead scoring model was a clear next step. You have a very valuable skill.”

Your data
Careful with your data and your systems
- Client data is pseudonymized on receipt wherever possible
- Identifiable client data is never sent to external AI tools, and never used to train models
- Credentials are kept separate and secure, and never stored in code
- We work inside your existing systems once processes are validated, with snapshots taken before any change
- Changes are tested on a small sample before they touch live records
- Handled in line with UK and EU GDPR
Common questions
Does our data need to be clean before we start?
No. Most manufacturers’ commercial data is incomplete or inconsistent, and cleaning, enriching, and connecting it is part of the work.
Which CRM and ERP systems do you work with?
We are platform agnostic and work inside the systems you already use. Tell us what you run on the diagnostic call and we’ll let you know how we can help.
Do you work with companies outside France?
Yes. Sanders Analytics is based in Nantes, France, and works with manufacturers across the UK, Europe, the US and Canada. Most work is done remotely, but travel is possible for activities best served by in-person work, such as training and strategy workshops.
Who on our side needs to be involved?
Usually a sales or commercial leader who owns the outcome, plus someone who can grant access to your systems. Relevant stakeholders are encouraged to join meetings that touch on their work and to ask questions. We keep meetings efficient and focused.
How is the free diagnostic call different from a Sales Data Readiness Assessment?
The free call is a 30-minute conversation about your situation and your data. The Sales Data Readiness Assessment is a paid, two-to-four-week analysis of your CRM, quoting and order data, delivered as a report with a prioritized action plan.
We’re planning to use AI. Where should we start?
With your data. AI tools learn from the records in your CRM, order management and finance systems, so gaps and inconsistencies there carry straight into their answers. A Sales Data Readiness Assessment shows what your data can support today and what to fix first.
How do we get started?
Book a free 30-minute diagnostic call. We’ll talk through what your goals are, your commercial structure and state of your data, and you’ll leave knowing which pressing sales questions your data can answer, as well as a defined practical next step.
Not sure which option fits?
Start with a conversation. We’ll tell you honestly which option makes sense, or whether something smaller would do.
